Avast! "Expedition to Skull Island" is released!

Our new massive solitaire print-and-play, roll-and-write adventure is now available!

In Expedition to Skull Island, you will outfit a ship with crew and supplies, set sail for a mysterious island, and explore it for treasure and wonder.

  • Choose your own ship and crew, or use the pre-made ship, the "Crimson Siren" and her crew under Captain Carver.
  • Use the included pre-generated map, or use the island creation rules to draw your own island map to explore.
  • Each terrain type on the island and the waters beyond features pages and pages of random encounters for you to discover, such as giant crabs, jungle cats, enemy pirates, and even the dreaded kracken. Mark up your map as you go, showing the progress of your adventure. Or better yet, write a journal as you go for a truly immersive experience!
  • Multiple scoring options, depending on whether you're a Pirate, Privateer, or Explorer.
  • Printer-friendly: You can play the game printing only two sheets - the map and the roster - and use a device to read the PDF for the adventures and rules, or you can print all 65+ pages if you prefer not to use devices to read your rules.
  • Features cover art by Gerritt McGill.

Each adventure provides several hours of piratical adventuring fun. Will you return to Tortuga with vast treasures and a reputation for being a strong, fearless captain?  Or will your adventure end in mutiny, with a dagger shoved between your ribs? Will you discover the secret of Skull Rock, or will it remain a mystery for future explorers to solve?  It's up to you!

Just picked this up. Love pirates, love solo stuff. Are you the guy who did the solo game where you roll dice and go forward on numbered sections of a list?

If you're referring to Dungeon Hero, then yes, that's me.  If you liked that game, you might also like Fable on Your Table, which is based on very similar mechanics.

Anyway, hope you enjoy Expedition to Skull Island!  May your sails be full of favorable winds and your chests full of glittering gold!
