7DRL Roguelike
The Seven-Day Roguelike game jam has arrived again, and like a moth to a flame, I signed up, despite having far less time than most years to devote to it. That didn't stop me, though!
I've been threatening to make a superhero roguelike for many years, and this year I made good on my threats. TRASH-80 ROGUE is a superhero-themed roguelike presented as if it were made for a fictional computer akin to the late 1970's TRS-80 computer sold in neighborhood Radio Shack stores.
You roll up a hero character, and then teleport into the lairs of Doctor Death, trying to fight your way to him and defeat him. Collect the rare and mysterious mutagen compound, which you can spend back at your headquarters to boost your powers, train your fighting ability, and even learn a new superpower.
The game is complete, but as it was made in a fairly short time span, it's not as fulsome as some of my other roguelikes. I had hoped to add a lot of features that didn't make it in - maybe in future revisions if the game gains some traction.
Anyway, enjoy! I hope you like the game transporting you back to the late 70's for some super-powered roguelike action!

Game is great as always. I liked that most of the powers do something neat that differentiates them. It definitely isn't as cool as most of your better-fleshed-out productions, but it's still a solid entry and playing it was a fun time all around :)
Nice, thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it!
