Fans of Dungeon Hero will be interested in the new release from Button Shy, AdvanceQuest: An Abduction in DarkHill.  It's a new adventure that uses the same mechanics as Dungeon Hero. You witness an abduction in the shadowed streets of a cutthroat city, and get plunged into a dark conspiracy.

This is basically a new Dungeon Hero adventure – AdvanceQuest is Button Shy's branding for the same ruleset, with adventures set in their fantasy setting, but presented on cards instead of in 'zines, with higher visual production values.  If you want a complete collection of Dungeon Hero adventures, this is one to pick up!

This joins several other AdvanceQuest titles:

• Among I, the Fungi – Adventure in a mushroom forest where fungal creatures dwell.
• Chaos in the Chasm – Deliver a message across the chasm where a lurking evil dwells.
• The New Hill – Creatures rise up from below a village. (This one is a reworking of the Dungeon Hero adventure of the same name, so if you already own The New Hill from the creatures collection, this will feel like a duplicate, although the Button Shy version features the more colorful layout and new cover art.)

On a personal note, I want to thank all the fans who have played the game, shared it on social media, and sent me your kind words. It's really gratifying to know that this little game I designed with my kids during the pandemic to stay sane has flourished out there and that people have enjoyed it.
